Rinchen Seljed Chakril Chenmo — the great precious iron compound for clear sight — is one of the most respected formulas of Tibetan pharmacy. According to the traditional description it contains 40 ingredients, including specially purified iron, saffron, cardamom, nutmeg, and a series of other valuable herbs and minerals. In the Tibetan tradition this precious pill is prepared for supporting the eyes, the nervous system, and the quality of vision, and for helping maintain a calm and steady state of mind. Traditional background. In Tibetan medicine the eyes and the "wind" energy are closely connected. Chakril Chenmo is traditionally used to support the health of the eyes, to ease the effects of strain and fatigue, and to nourish the fine channels connected with sight.
